Cassandra was born and raised in Lumberton, North Carolina.  Though she was very  active in high school and in the community, most of her spare time was spent at the sewing machine.  When most of the other girls her age were playing with dolls and tea sets, Cassandra was sewing, making her very first dress at the age of ten.  Her very first job as a helper at the finest Men’s Clothier in Lumberton, gave her experience and the know how to alter clothes.  After graduating from high school, Cassandra moved to Charlotte in 1975 to attend King’s College, graduating in 1976 with a diploma in Fashion Merchandising. 

After many years in the corporate arena, Cassandra has decided to turn her passion into business in the Charlotte NC area.   Along with  a passion for alterations, she enjoys serving others.  Her passion for working with brides and altering bridal gowns, and bridesmaid dresses, led her to the Wedding industry.
